Just Wait, Don't Hurry!

Simple phrase, that is used by people without any reason- 'Just wait, don't hurry'. Just that most of the responsible people, who have the power of any smallest thing ; prefers to use it at the time of war. For them, time is not a big deal when it doesn't apply personally.

They are only concerned about getting their monthly payments and benefits, no matter what is their field of expertise. Not to focus on any particular designation or department, rather most of the places that have been providing public service in any way.

Let's have a look at some of the places that require urgent action and direction. However, due to the waiting approach it gets late or never. 'Just wait, don't hurry'. It may not effect the person who is responsible for the delay in the process. But it can change the life of the aggrieved person, in some cases majorly.

Attempt to suicide reaching to the government hospital, needs immediate treatment. Due to one or another reason, doctors are not able to provide any assistance at the instance.
'Just Wait, Don't Hurry ', is there any specific time for the people to ask for waiting? Not really, since the person who is not in hurry doesn't have anything else to do. Just that, it has become his habit to make people wait. So that he can justify his designation in the system.
Most of the offices dealing with the public in general, easily witness the situation ; where people keep on waiting for hours for simple yet important tasks. The excuse given to them is, that there are so many other things to be done.

But none of the person can gather the courage to ask, what other things they are doing - apart from assisting the assigned jobs? Maintaining the files, which are never found when required. Doing the paper work, which is providing the least help to the designated duty. Talking to the colleagues or other people, that is not serving any purpose at the moment.

A lady reaching out to the local police station at 10 in night, for registering the complaint against her better half. She was asked to- WAIT and do not hurry. But no one explained her, how to wait when she was about to get strangulated by her life partner? Fortunately, she was alive till she reached the police station. However, mentally she was not - due to the unexpected attitude of the related officers. How to get the FIR registered, was her concern. She was asked to come back in the morning, after she kept waiting till 11.45 at night. But, where to come back from?

Irony of the system is, that everyone blames someone who is not available at the instance. Why not, people start taking responsibility for their actions or duties? Why to delay everything and get the work heaped up? Does it give any kind of happiness or honor? May be, such acts provide self satisfaction and feeling of being wanted. But momentarily, as it doesn't last longer. Just wait, don't hurry resulting in the aggrieved either moving to another option, or ending up with the least strength. .
When a complainant appears in front of the court of law, she was asked to wait for the following dates of hearing. Unfortunately, she keeps on waiting for the proceedings which are supposed to happen. Wasn't she waiting a lot, just to reach the right place for getting the justice? Why not tell her priorities, to wait until the cases are finalized in the court room? Why not stop her life- to keep waiting for the benefits, which she is rightful to? Ultimately she keep wondering in the court of law, not justice.

When anyone is not able to stop the time, then no one has the right to keep instructing people - WAIT. At least, without any logical reason or specific situations. No one can be assured that, if he is enjoying the power today ; he may not need someone else tomorrow. Human beings are designed to work with each other, as none can be sufficient alone for living in the society. So, how can anyone afford to ask someone to - WAIT?
