You must be wondering what happened next. Actually, nothing happened as nobody except the victim is bothered with the so-called proceedings of the court. For them, it is just another name in the list of the cases fixed outside the court. Or you can also say that a thick file of the documents, that keeps moving from one table to another in the courtroom. But what about the time of life, that she is wasting in all of the processes and not getting anything done.
One fine day, the judge ordered in her favour that she is granted maintenance and will receive it for her son every month. You must be thinking that now the things have changed and she will get it straight. Not lucky enough, the order was applicable from the date of the announcement and not from the beginning of the case. So, the fees in arrears are still the same. In addition, to which, the husband has no plans to pay even the decided money.
Time is passing like normal for everyone else, but for her, it is stuck in the increasing wrinkles of the face and weakening of the physical strength. She wanted to live, earn and spend her life with her son as desired. But when? No one has the reply to this. Most of the friends give support saying, soon. Some very close relationships, it will take time but you will win. Really difficult to run around and manage everything without any hopes of getting the solution.
Time never stops for anyone, so with her. She always tried to reach everywhere before time. Kept running for the work to be done, but the things decided already cannot change by her efforts and pains. Advocates that she is assigned are either not able to understand her situation or the situation is not new for them. She keeps on going to the legal aid office for filing further appeal and case, but the attitude of the staff there is also very casual.
If everyone is like this, then who is going to be serious? How it will be sorted out for her? Maybe for most of the victims, who dies waiting for the right decision of the court. But, every machinery is unaffected and so are the responsible people who are busy with their duties. No one is ready to understand what is the duty, in fact. For them, going to their respective workplace daily and coming back is a great deal which they perform each day.
For some time, let's forget about the people who are completely unaware of what is going on... Here, she is known to every factor which is taking place and the remedy for it. Still, it is taking ages to reach out to the state of solution. She also realized that not only she is aware of the truth, but the people who are getting involved in the process are known to reality. Till now, more than 5 lawyers are involved in her cases.
Among which, 3 are on record for appearance and 2 at the backend who keep on guiding her at every stage and for each word that she needs to speak or write in the complaint or petition. She has become an owner of a thick file, which is getting bigger with each date of hearing. For the next assigned counsel, she needs to explain everything spending her time and money included for photocopy and conveyance. The amount is not so huge for anyone, but the small ones also need to be arranged to keep the process working......
